Improving memory

The self-same BBC news programme 'Today' has just reported that children who learn musical instruments have significantly better verbal memories. Apparently, according to research done in China, learning music develops the left side of the brain, an area associated with being able to remember words.

Er, at least, that's what I think the report said...
