Lewis and the sabbath

Apart from being Inspector Morse' sidekick, Lewis is the name of an outer Hebridean island. It has just made history by having passenger aircraft land there on a Sunday, the holy sabbath. This article has an interesting slant on the effects of this innovation.

I am very surprised that, amid all the bible quoting on the holiness of Sundays, no one has seen fit to quote Mark Chapter 2, verse 27:
And he [Jesus] said to them, "The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath..."
When will religious wise men stop making idiots of themselves?
